Why not a giving tree

This after noon at work I was listening to the radio. I work better listening to music and not listening to the girls talking sometimes. The radio station had received a email or a phone call I can’t remember what it was but it was about a local school who had a giving tree. I guess some parents who do not celebrate Christmas throw a fit that they had a giving tree. Get a grip people. I do not celebrate Christmas, I hate to admit this but hearing and seeing people do helpful things for people who need help makes me feel a lot better.

So Why do I not celebrate Christmas, easy it is not one of G-ds appointed times, and because it is actually a pagan holiday to celebrate the Sun god Mithres. When Constantine was on watch for the church he and his people decided to hate the Jewish People and decided they where below Constantine and said that no Jewish Holidays should be held. He felt that no Christian aught to have anything in common with the Jewish People, so he moved all of the Christian Holidays onto the Pagan holidays in order to make it easier for the Gentile believers to remember the Holidays. I am sorry but I don’t see this as truly celebrating the Birth of Yeshua our Savior.

So why I am I okay with a giving tree. Here is why. We are to help one and other in the Christian Faith and even though I do not agree with Christmas I realize there are some who truly believe this is Yeshua Birth, and they do not realize it is a Pagan holiday commemorating the pagan god Mithres, and what some of the Church founder said when they where doing all this stuff.

What is wrong with a giving tree and why not, what is wrong with giving to families who are not making ends meet? I wish I would see a giving tree all year around. I live in America, what happened to freedom of Religion. We are to let the Muslim believe what they want have their prayer time but heaven forbid a Christian bring their Bible to school and then study or have them pray with others. I do not believe there is more then one way to G-d but I do believe that if we are acting ugly then we do not have a good witness at all.
