Things I am thankful for today

I am thankful that my van repairs ended up being alot less then what I thought they would be. Sometimes car repairs can be a bugger.

I am thankful for being able to play guitar and sing at the same time, and that I have the children worship.

I am thankful for having a honest mechanic and knowing another who is a honest mechanic, who do not treat me poorly because I am a woman. They listen to what I am saying to them, and ask me what is wrong. Most Mechanics I have dealt with when I tell them what happening they don’t listen very well and then they tell me a bunch of stuff is wrong that really isn’t wrong. Like a few years ago I brought in my car because steering was harder then normal. I checked my fluids for it and that was fine, the mechanic looked at it and said what was wrong which made since. I fixed the problem.. But then when he checked my engine he said I needed to tune up the car and it would be over 350 bucks just for spark plugs, wires, distributor cap,and filters. This sounded ridiculously high to me because I had done a couple of tune up on my own when I had my Volvo and i only spent about 45 for everything so it seemed odd.. The starter was new. So I thank the L-rd that he has given me limited knowledge on cars, and that  I am able to problem solve the issues if I take the time to do so.

I  am Thankful for my friend on line who husband was able to suggest the gas lines in the van, and help me realize it could be that too.
