What is being judgemental

Tonight I had a conversation with one of my online friends. We have been chatting for a very long time, at least 5 maybe 6 years if I am not mistaking, at least since I started at the chat room we met in.

She had asked me if she was judgmental, since I have known her she hasn’t been, sometimes like any of us she can be misunderstood. Sometimes we do need to ask ourselves are we being judgmental or expecting something of another person which they can not give to us.

When we are hurt by someone I believe we need to go and talk to the person and try to make it right. It is the person choice to either accept what is being said or to blow it off. Sometimes when we are online we forget that the person on the other side of the computer screen is a person, and what we type toward them can be hurtful. Words can hurt a person deeper then punching them in the face.

If we do not say anything to the person and we are hurting or their behavior is causing trouble, then it needs to be dealt with in love. We should go to that person and tell them privately, what they have done to harm or hurt us. That is not being judgmental to say, that a person is treating you wrongly, but it is up to the person to change their behavior. If it is someone on line then Pray and seek G-d because we can not see the person heart., and maybe it both of your hearts which need to be changed.

I do believe it is wrong to tell everyone what the person has done to you, this is evil speak and really should not happen. We as believers should be building up each other and not tearing them down. If you do not like someone because of what ever reason that does not give you the right to treat them poorly, they deserve respect to, and their name should not be changed to suite what you wish to call them.
