Counting down
Posted by admin on January 15th, 2008 filed in Faith, ThankfulWow I can’t believe it 55 years of marriage how precious, my husband parents. Here I am counting down my months with my hubby and being newly married. Not many people have been married for 55 years all those year spent together, wow. Mom and dad are 2 very special people to us. I hope one day hubby and I will be married that long. Even though my husband and I don’t celebrate many holidays, we go to visit his parents and my grand parent when most Christians are off work. There is one holiday I enjoy which isn’t appointed by G-d.
My husband doesn’t much care for Valentine Days, I can understand that, but I have always liked it. I think everyday of marriage should be special and not just one day the year. I like it when my husband brings me a bouquet of flowers for just because it makes me feel valued. Not that I think he always has to do that, but it more special to me then
valentines day gifts , I do not mind getting those neither. Now I would never turn down a Valentine day gift, I would gladly accept it unless it sports related then I would tell hubby take someone else.
Mom and dad must of done something right, marriage is important, we know by what Yeshua said, G-d allowed divorced because our hearts where hardened. We got our way because we are unwilling to yield to what G-d wanted for us. We got our way because we where not willing to stick it out. There is only one reason for divorce and that unfaithfulness and I believe abuse is another reason G-d does not mind divorce. G-d wants us to be safe and not unsafe.
