Moshe and drug use get real
Posted by admin on March 14th, 2008 filed in FaithThe other day my husband sent me article he does this often. When I am not in school it don’t bug me, because I have nothing better to do, during school time it bugs me because if i read anything outside of homework it for fun. Sorry I don’t call articles fun that are insulting to my faith, education maybe but sometimes it boring to read because there is no real fun in it because it dry.
This article stated that Moshe was high on drugs, and that all of Israel seeing and here was that did was because of the drug. It was a normal thing that happens with this type of drug. My husband found this article at breitbart.com. I will not bother quoting them. One thing I would like to know is how do they figure when psychedelic drugs are used other around them have the same effect. I can prove from personal experience this is not true! My mom and sister both did those types of drugs and I never once when living with them and they did it had any vision of unreal things or anything at that matter. Why didn’t I because the Drug will not affect those who are not taking it, do I have medical proof no, but I doubt that it something in my brain that keeps me from sharing with them. What I learned growing up with a drug addicted parent was that the state don’t wanna keep you there and then they blame the child for it.
Moshe did not need drug rehab because he didn’t take drugs to hear from G-d. How did the burning bush happened, well that was G-d. Yes I know it hard to believe in G-d in someone/thing who is everywhere and all knowing and is kind of scary because he knows everything. Moshe had ran into the dessert after killing a Egyptian slave driver who was beating one of Moshe Hebrew bothers. Moshe grant it was wrong in what he did, and when he came back he was told that by 2 Hebrews who where fighting amongst their self. Moshe tried to intervene, to be a peacemaker and was asked, something like are you going to kill us to. I am sorry but when Moshe saw that burning bush I am sure he wasn’t high on any drugs, he was running, and ran into G-d.
On the Mountain the People of Israel became fearful of G-d and wanted Moshe to talk to G-d there was only a few who wanted to hear directly from G-d and G-d gave them there way. So are you seriously going to tell me everyone in Israel that day was high, I highly doubt it. When people use drugs they can not be productive, they lose control of their responsibilities. We are so quick to right of what G-d has done. This is why parents like my mom lose their children because they can’t take care of them correctly, and the children aren’t safe, so I am sorry but Moshe wasn’t a drug addict. How would he have lead all of Israel for 40 years in the dessert.
