Summer’s here

Summer is here or at least close enough to call it. In Minnesota, I think we only have 2 seasons’ winter and construction. I know many churches around here are starting to plan summer camp, which will include boating. Boating is a great activity for families and church outings. You can even use boating and fishing as a lesson of what Yeshua had done for his disciples when they where fishing.
Normally my husband and I at least once a year rent a boat because fishing on a boat is funnier and better fish seem to be caught. Problem with renting it can get pretty expensive and finding other people who are free when you are can be hard that why inflatable boats are good. They cost a lot less then new boats and can have small motors attached to them.
Inflatable boats can be folded up doing the winter time and placed in the closet. They are small enough to be able to store them inside, but a regular boat wouldn’t be able to be folded up and put into a closet. Could you just imagine all the work it would take to take a medal boat and put it in a closet, that would be hard, and how would you put it back together to make it lake or river worthy.
Taking the family or church youth group would teach the children responsibility of driving a boat. This gives children a chance to do something that would keep them out of trouble and let me tell you I know how easy it is for young people to get into trouble.
Owing a inflatable boat may help families take a affordable vacation because it is a lot cheaper then a trip to Disney Land.
