Baby Dedications

How can a baby be baptised when it can not decided to follow Yeshua? I don’t believe a baby should be baptised before they are able to confess Yeshua as Savior and able to make that confession with a understanding of what that means. G-d don’t love the baptised baby any more then the unbaptisted baby and just because that baby was baptised as a baby don’t make it later a Christain. Might make them a Christian by name.
One thing I have always been in agreement with are baby dedications, this is dedicating that child to G-d but also making a commitment of being there for that child and showing them the way of the L-rd. I was baptised as a infant and strong disagree with that becuase I didn’t have a choice and shoot I didn’t know Yeshua or anything about him neither. When a person is baptised it is their confession of Yeshua, and it is like dying to self.
Baby dedications still have the parents and the g-d parents who are to be there to help raise the child in the ways of G-d. G-d has told us how we are to teach our children. In the Old testiment we are instructed to talk of his laws when we sit in our homes, walk by the way, lay down and raise up. But it’s more then just talking about it, it’s doing it. It’s showing the Child what Christ like behavor is. We can’t decide for our child what they will follow but we can instruct them in what to follow. If you raise up a child in the way he should go, when he old he will not part from it. Never did the bible says he’d never part from it sometimes children go away from what they learn but if they where brought up, they will probably come around again, maybe through much prayer.
When you have a family you might pick what health insurance you go with for the family but when that child moves out on it’s own and becomes a adult it might pick NC health insurance.
