Sabbath Part 5
Posted by admin on October 24th, 2008 filed in FaithThe Last verse on the Sabbath I found was Hebrew 4 9There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.
Roman 3:21, But now quiet apart from Torah, G-d’s way of making people righteous in His sight has been made clear—although the Torah and Prophets give their witness to it as well.
Now I have went through the entire bible and still have found no proof that the Sabbath is now on the 1st day of the week. I am not disagreeing that it’s the L-rds day but I am disagreeing that it is the Sabbath and the day we are called to worship. I am sorry Yeshua did not change it when he rose from the dead and visited his Disciples. I understand he rose on the first day but I am sorry that doesn’t mean he changed it to the first day.
If Yeshua would have changed the Sabbath to the first day of the week, wouldn’t he have done it some time during his ministry time, Yeshua tells us he didn’t come to abolish the Torah, wouldn’t change the Sabbath kind of being Abolishing the Torah? So how was the Sabbath changed to Sunday, I will get in to this in my next few posts but right now, it’s time for me to take a break. G-d didn’t change the Sabbath, Neither did Yeshua. I will explain who and how it happened. I was surprised when I learned this, I used to believe you could worship on either day but now I do not feel this way and believe strongly that we are to honor G-ds Holy days including the Sabbath, feasts and festivals. So with this I will pick up with Part six on the outside sources of where the Sabbath got changed.
