Hand of protection
Posted by admin on December 14th, 2008 filed in FaithWe got dad stuff safely up to the cities and got his van up here on a prayer and probably with G-d’s angels with us. I am so glad we went last night and not waited until today. Winter driving isn’t fun in a van that you have to keep your foot on the gas, and break his van did not like to stop, so today would not have happened. I would have told Hubby I think not; this thing is being towed down. I probably should seriously think about waiting till next month to have dad van brought to my mechanic because I honestly think driving this thing in the cities would be unwise, and maybe I need to be insistent on it is unwise, and if hubby and dad want it drove to the mechanic then hubby can drive it and have a accident, not me!
Well I guess since we are talking winter, and driving it might be a good idea to remind everyone to take your time, give yourself extra time to get to your place. Do not rush, and watch for the snowplows who will be cleaning our roads.
When driving in the winter it will be slippery, most cars and vans are equipped with ABS so you shouldn’t need to pump your breaks that will do it for you. Know if your ABS don’t work right bump the breaks gently and never slam them on, because this could cause you to spin out. Maybe driving in vegas would be better right now. Plus it’s warmer and probably funner. I am not a winter person at all. Why’d I ever move to MN don’t ask me guess I was being crazy.
I know last night G-d had to have his angels watching over dad and I, never once did we have a close call and I killed his van a few times, I killed it a lot in the parking lot. I am guessing it’s the fuel injector or the fuel regulator. I will have to determine what is the safest way to get dad van to my mechanic.
