Rock in a hard place

Rock in a hard place, is something many people say when they don’t like whats going on. Today Hubby and I where talking about food clean and unclean and foods that well aren’t unclean but G-d said he wanted it for himself. Hubby recently talked about a commentary he did a few weeks ago, about How G-d in the Old testament told his people of that time not to use the fat from the meat which would be sacrificed to him, because it was for G-d. It would be the choose part of the meat. Many things are made with Lard be it pig or Beef, before hubby talked about that I never worried if it said beef lard because I can get away with a little bit of beef fat with out getting sick.
After hubby teaching I felt to say the least convicted and that if it’s made even with beef lard, I should not be eating it, because their is no way to tell where the lard is located on the cow.
Now days it hard to know where the food comes from anyways. I don’t eat much meat, and what I do isn’t a concern about where it came from. It’s probably safe to say the meat sold her isn’t killed for a idol or something like that. Now I know if you can’t see them doing it, it’s hard to say how it’s actually done but oh well, not like I am going to go and buy a whole lamb or bison or something, not like I have Outer Banks homes to store all the meat.
