Little grandma
Posted by admin on July 26th, 2009 filed in ThankfulThere’s this little lady at my church, she just like a little grandma. She reminds me alot of my own granny. She so warm and sweet. Dad really likes her and she been able to relate to him in ways hubby and I simply can’t because of our inexperience.
This weekend she was sharing with me and dad, some things. She gave dad something which I felt would maybe be to much. Her husband had a small little cross, which was his. He passed away a year ago and she told me she felt the Holy Spirit tell her to give it to dad. I don’t disbelieve she feels the Holy Spirit told her to do so but I worry that maybe it’s to much to give away to someone. I know if I were to lose hubby I wouldn’t be able to give away things he wore to another man, as a gift. Maybe if he needed but not as a I wanted you to have this and it belonged to my husband.
Dad lost mom a year ago the end of August, he misses her. I know it does him good to have little grandma she better then any Pronexin for dad. He smiles around her and teases. I worry sometimes dad might say something to offend her. Dad sometimes doesn’t know when to behave nicely, and gentlemanly.
This little grandma lady has warmed my heart she is so sweet and sincere about everything. She is the type of woman you see and hope when your that age you’ll be as kind and gentle. She’s a great example of a friend. Any one grieving the lost of a love one needs a little grandma in their life.
