Doing the right things
Posted by admin on September 3rd, 2009 filed in FaithDoing the right thing is sometimes hard, and sometimes it’s unclear what the right thing actually is. I try very hard to do the right thing and meet everyone needs. I don’t think I can always do everything, and sometimes it’s hard to decide what to do. I was supposed to be on a week vacation, boy I not on a vacation. My nephews been with dad and I. It’s been a good thing but a draining thing. To be honest I have forgotten to eat which I don’t do often.
Yesterday we got the living room rearrange and got the living room very clean. The hardest part was moving the tv stands Now I just need to reclean the kitchen, and straighten up the living room again. I haven’t even had time to do laundry. Tomorrow I might need to make the day for that. At least my nephew back to school next week. ![]()
I am glad he’s been a help, but before this happened I called one of my friends, and asked her to go out for coffee. Tonight I was debating not going, but felt I needed to because she had asked me to do something for her. I agreed, but I felt family also need me. My husband said well you can’t keep self sacrificing, so I decided my nephew would come with me tomorrow for lunch and he can sit there and listen. I know family is important and G-d tells us to honor our mother and father, and I believe he expects use to help other family members within reason.
