Me write a book
Posted by admin on September 27th, 2009 filed in UncategorizedIt’s funny how many people know me encourage me to write a book. Well I am not a great writer and plus right now I do not have for it. I have 3 classes to complete then I will be done with my undergrad and off to the master program. I have shared with a few people how at my first college I was very discourage and told I could never graduate because I was too stupid. This was at a Bible college, I was talking to someone this week and telling them how I would like to send them my transcripts with a letter saying see I am not stupid, I just didn’t fit into your mold and By the way G-d can use me. I know who I would use to make a cardboard display for my book if I ever wrote one. They made the sign for our congregations, and did a terrific job.
My husband is the story writer. The thing that hurt me the worst at my first college was hearing G-d could never use me or my talents, the not being smart enough hurt less. The words of G-d can’t use you well sometimes they still play, I know he has used me and will continue to use me unless I do not let him. We as humans have a choice to let G-d use us or to tell him no he respects that but sometimes having the consequences of saying no is very unpleasant and it best to just do it.
There will always be people in life who would rather pull you down and tear you up. My Rabbi right when he tells parents they need to bless their children because the world will not. The world might sometimes encourage people and bless them but as a whole it probably won’t and it important to get it from home. The safest place for a person should be in there home, and that where they should feel the most encouragement coming from.
To the people who been told you can’t don’t give up because you can achieve your goals. You might need to have your goals broken into smaller pieces and not so big but you can still do it. And as long as your living and breathing and can read and write your probably not to stupid and even then if you can’t there’s ways to get it done with out giving up. The hardest thing I have done in my life, was going back to college, and trying again. The hardest thing for me was not letting my old bible college ruin my life by making me give up it harder to try and keep going.
