Same sermon twice

I was hoping I would get to ignore hubby this week, because he was doing the same sermon as last week. He gave me the remote to go through the slides, so I didn’t get to ignore him like I can with taking prescription medication, because I only take them when I have signs of needing them for breathing.
He was talking about talents and what that verse really meant. Until last week I didn’t really understand that the talents where not giftings G-d gives us, but the money in that time. Many pastor either use it as a passage for getting rich or using your G-d given talents or lose them. Well, in the scripture we are all aware that 2 of the 3 men invested the money and the third one buried it. The third one didn’t make any thing with it because he had hidden it away. His master called him evil because he knew that his master invested in ways he never tried before. This is storing up riches in Heaven, not talking about how we aught to be rich to show G-d love but how we are supposed to help those in need, and if we don’t know how to do it have someone do it that knows how.
Yes using our G-d given talents is important but also using our money wisely is important. This was a good sermon but a hard one to apply. I would recommend going to his Messianic site and reading his sermon or listening to it. I am not sure if he has it in mp3 or if he post his lessons.
