I did it
Posted by admin on January 13th, 2010 filed in ThankfulOn Monday I finished my last class in my business management degree, I have worked hard to just complete it. I called Granny yesterday and told her I was done with this program. Now I am just waiting for my grades to be posted eventhough I know what the grade it. So I guess to all those people who said I was too stupid to succeed, I guess you was wrong and well maybe it was your teaching style more then me.
I am glad I done this because this took so long to complete, but I did it. It is amazing how at a secular university was more encouraging and I grew more in confidence than at the bible college. Even when I was very scared of going to school, and was in the beginning very encouraging, I had a christian enrollment person that gave me a mustard seed coin the first night of class. I still have this coin.
When I was talking to Granny once again she told me how proud she was of me. She also went on to tell me how proud my dad would be of me. I lost my dad to Mesothelioma cancer at 17. She always tells me how proud my dad would be of me. Sometimes I wish he was here because I know how encouraging he was to me. He believed in me, and accepted me even with the rough edges. Thankfully I grew up, and became grateful for my family. In about 7 months I am back to school for my master in counseling, and then hopefully I can find a job in something I would like to do.
