A blessing
Posted by admin on February 15th, 2010 filed in FaithThis weekend, I roomed with one of my friends she an older lady, but you wouldn’t guess it. She is one of those people I hope I can be like. She is very caring and giving and has blessed my husband and I this year. She’s been a pleasing and a maker. At our woman retreat we had an assignment the last day or better to say last meeting. She was the hardest person for me to figure out what to write for. It was one word, just one word which describe the person. Well let me tell you I don’t think woman can right one words, I think maybe short sentences is what we are good at. We where assigned with complementing the person. It was easy to find complements, at least for me, but picking the one complement I wanted to use for them, was a little more challenging. My friend I gave her servant, because all of the quality I saw in here were very servant related, and I figured that would be a good. Some people it was easier to give it in just one word, but it seemed 2 words was the best way to go.
I am really glad I roomed with her and we had a time to share. I admire her and am glad there are people like her. I think all the woman in my congregation are a great group, to be honest I have never heard many say unkind things behind people backs. Now I am not saying they never do anything wrong because it face it they are human and sometimes we sin, and fall short. Just like getting raid of acne sometimes you have to use tazorac or something else, until you find the one that works you will always have blemishes. Just like walking with the L-rd sometimes we have to have the blemishes of the spirit removed.
