Home again

Yesterday while at my woman retreat I got a call from management. Hubby had called in a work order for the garbage disposal and what he didn’t know at the time was that it was backing up into the dishwasher and the sink was not draining. The carpet floor was all wet, and he really did try to clean up the mess. Normally something like this would get under my skin, I am surprise I don’t need any anti aging products with some of the faces I make. Well it didn’t bug me. Hubby tried to clean up. Well management knows I am the one who normally works on things around the house and will sometimes try to resolve problems before calling them. My hubby calls them right away, when things go wrong. This is wise on hubby part because he not gifted in the same ways as I, so I rather him call management and have them come and fix it. My husband is intelligent, he’s very bright but fixing things isn’t exactly his forte and that okay with me. I love him just the way he is, and he’s fine.
Now I am not saying I wouldn’t mind him helping clean the house more often, or showing me he appreciate all the things I do around here more because sometimes it seems dad and he forget everything I do.
At one point I told my roommate for the retreat what the call was about and she wanted to talk about all the possible things that it could be. I finally told her, you know I can’t do nothing about it now, and talking about it is just going to cause me stress until I get home. I will wait till then if hubby couldn’t maybe I can. Well hubby or I couldn’t so know it’s wait for maintenance to show.
Sometimes we need to just not worry about what is at home and allow what ever it is to be for the time.
