Oh my

I have to say sometimes dad makes my hubby and I rather embarrassed at church. I know he is just curios and means no harm I mean he would even be asking question about Prada if someone was talking about it. Dad has made some statement that just really rub me the wrong way, especially the way he sometimes refers to Jewish people, personally some days it feels like a slap in the face. I try to understand he came from a Christian background which wasn’t very Jewish friendly but so he doesn’t always know how to express he questions. Thankfully most at church so far knows dad and have had plenty of mercy.
Today dad was asking someone how they knew the way we believed was right and not someone else beliefs. I liked her answer that it’s by faith we know G-d. She had a lot of grace towards dad. I am glad that many have that grace with us there. I know I do not always express myself very well.
Sometimes dad is worst then asking question like telling people he hates them. I am not sure how to handle him, or deal with him when he does this to people. Its hard to apologize for what someone else does, so we try to be mindful when he is around someone new, how long we let him be around them on his own. Now since i have started on the worship team it has faced him to meet people on his own. It has been good for him, dad makes friends pretty easy. Still my hubby and I worry about the things he sometimes says, sometimes it just out right embarrassing.
