The Sabbath

The Sabbath is one of my favorite days but I have to admit I think I do more on the Sabbath some times then I do any other day of the week. Its is one of my longer days too. To day Rabbi talked about honoring the sabbath and what it meant. Doing good deeds is still honoring the sabbath it is important to do good by people. Yeshua did good on the Sabbath and grant it, it made the leaders of that day want to kill him. I think people had the ultimate healthcare job search when they looked for HIM because he was going to fix their problems.
I have had friends tell me they would lose their job if they asked for Saturdays off, but what they do not realize is a company can’t really fire you if its your beliefs. Right now I wouldn’t go as far as my Rabbi might by saying then its time to find a new job because jobs are hard to come by. I am blessed I work Monday though Friday and office on the weekend. However my company sometimes will ask me to do something and I will tell them sorry I have other responsibility.
