Not a easy talk

The other day my Father in law sister had called him and wanted to talk to him. I let her talk to him, for a while and then she wanted to speak with me. I do not like telling people what is going on in the family especially someone who is a sister or brother because I know they may think that it could be them. Plus I know dad does not like it when I tell people what is going on with him. His sister told me thank you for taking care of him. I made a promise to his wife and I will take care of him as long as I can, until its no longer safe to care for him. I worry about him getting into some of my diet pills, and prescriptions for my asthma sometimes, because he done it in the past but I have figured out a way to protect him for that. I put away and hide all the meds so he can’t overdose his self. I make sure he gets his meds every day.
His sister asked me some questions about if he wondering yet and if that is a concern. So I explained to her a bit of how the house here is run, and what I do. I am such a light sleeper I wake up when Dad gets up automatically, hardly do I ever get a nights of sleep.
Dad right now hasn’t been getting up at night because I keep him up during the day and it seems to be helping him stay asleep and not getting confused.
