Should just listen to the wife

On Monday I was on my way to guitar lessons and I noticed my husband car tire was flat. I called him on his cell and told him about it. He had a rough day on Monday but in a way G-d provided for him. About a year ago he was told something in the engine was wrong with the car, and it would cost several hundred to fix. Yesterday he needed to get his tabs and found out he had lost his front license plate, so he had to replace that with the tabs but at least it was only 10$. Okay he was frustrated but he acted well and didn’t take it out on me, when I called him and ask if it was okay dad and I ate. He told me, “Go ahead eat, I am searching all over creation to find my license plate.” He called me aback a little later and told me he would stop at the place where we get our oil change and have them put on the new plates, okay no biggy. While he was there our mechanic insisted on doing a diagnostics on his car because his check engine light was coming on and told my husband he’d do it for free because he wanted him to be safe. I am glad the mechanic pushed on it a little bit, because the fix for the engine was a coal or something that was out, so it was causing a couple of misfired. His repair was under 120$.
My husband over the weekend had emailed Rabbi and told Rabbi to take his pay for a couple Mondays as his offering for the year. Now my husband could have bought a Sierra Designs Gnar Jacket, or could have used that money on other things, but he felt he needed to Honor G-d. I am not saying that his car cost was so low because he listen to G-d but I believe sometimes we need to do what on our heart and by doing it G-d will bless us.
Over the summer around the time we got our property taxes I had told my hubby to bring in the car and have them run another Diagnostic but my hubby was afraid it would cost to much to fix, so he kept putting it off.
