Time to grow

Sometimes our congregation gets new people who aren’t where some other members are in there walk. Sometimes we need a reminder to allow the person to grow into faith or what expected of them. Its funny every congregation I have been to has a order of conduct for members and long term visitors which is wrote out of acceptable behavior but then there are unwritten rules too. The unwritten rules or expectations are the hardest one to met because they are not as clearly defined.
This weekend we talked about this with another member. People like to share and sometimes people share things that might be unsettling for some families. There needs to be a balance which our congregation does pretty well at accepting people for where they are in their growth.
I would love to have contemporary sofas in the library would be nice to be able to sit down somewhere and not have to sit at a table. I am glad that a good percentage of our congregation understand the value of leaving people grow on their own.
