Are you kidding me

Okay let me start by saying I do not celebrate Christmas. I celebrate the appointed times, and I feel this is what G-d has commanded us. He told us not to worship the way the pagans. Christmas and Easter are both holidays which have more roots in Pagan culture and beliefs, so I believe G-d wouldn’t want me celebrating it; however I am still empathetic to families who have a hard time during the holidays. I understand many people celebrate it as Jesus birth, and that they give gifts. I do feel that all the gift giving isn’t necessary and that it became to much of a commercialized holiday. You must have a christmas tree, you must have presents, and you most not overlook it or forget it. This morning I was listening to the Radio and I really wanted to reach through my radio and smack a couple of host on the show. I do not have a concern for the kids who don’t have a chirstmas tree or presents under the tree. My concern is for the children who get told for all there lives Santa Clause is real. What will this do to there faith if mom and dad has lied to them about something as big as santa.
The parent over looked Christmas being this week because she had trouble over thanksgiving, and then her child got ill. Okay Hmm maybe going out buying presents, or a tree is not all that important. What is important is that family being together and being hole. If this holiday really revolved around Yeshua (Jesus) how can people be so greedy and selfish and hurtful. The host felt he had a okay to make this person who was already feeling under pressure and stress because of the holiday to pretty much flat our tell her she wasn’t doing good enough by her children. Excuse me at least those children have their parents in their life, at least they have a rough over there head and food to eat. So what no gifts maybe their parents should use this as a positive learning experience. Shoot, at least it not her kids birthdays, or other important thing. Frankly Christmas isn’t that important that you have to have gifts because Yeshua already gave the prefect gift. Grant it I would love it if someone gave me a morgan silver dollars, because I like collecting different types of coins.
