Dad still doing well

Things are not always easy when living with someone with Alzheimer’s between working part-time, my grad program and dad I hardly have any time. I study a lot I just got done studying for the day. Now I am just thinking about what I learned. Dad is doing well and he seems in pretty good spirits, and he has asked about church membership. No prompting, he got upset last week because he some how got it stuck in his head that they didn’t want him. He been rejected a lot and its painful for him, he doesn’t believe people actually do care. Our elders are great because this week one of them reassured dad that he was wanted and accepted. He’s 88 so not all the same requirements that my husband and I are required are required for dad. Which makes since to me. Last night dad asked if he could eat his salad with out praying. Normally my husband or I pray over dinner. I told him last night if we forget or haven’t prayed feel free to lead it. My husband encourage him that G-d doesn’t just hear me or him but also hears dad too, the same way he would cypress tree if it where to be talking.
Dad can be hard to deal with but he can easy to deal with too.He sure does like to argue sometimes and I have learned when he just looking for a argument and not playing into it is the best approach i can take. Now that being said it is hard. I have started my master program and have midterms this week so I am a mess, I hate test taking and I am really worried about the test because I did not prepare for it at all. I should have used a took for the last 6 weeks which I did not use oh well my own stupid fault.
