Finding strengths
Posted by admin on February 3rd, 2011 filed in Similarities One thing in counseling that we are encouraged to do is help clients find there strengths. I have noticed I do not know or realize my strengths but I do notice all my short comings. As humans its so easy to get caught up in the weakness but not what is going write, or what we did well in a time of crisis. However I can encourage people very easily, so can my husband but he also like me if asked for his strengths he might have a harder time figuring it out. It is easy to know the strengths that Blue Cross Blue Shield has because they post it on their literature.
At church our rabbi is pushing for more of a community feel, and I am glad maybe people will be less likely to pick apart people, or bring in other teachings which do not line up with his teaching. Church is supposed to be for building up the believer and I am not talking the type of becoming prideful.
