Dad’s doing great

I decided it be a good day to do a family update. Lets see I will start with my husband dad. Dad is doing great, he been a pill but he seems to understand things pretty good lately. I am not sure if he knew who I was tonight because he started talking to me as if I lived with him and mom growing up. When he does things like this its hard, because I know he don’t know me at that time. I tell him I am his son’s wife. Sometimes he talks to mom, as if she there which she not. It hard to watch him reliving the past, or to be stuck in a alternate reality in his brain. My homework reading assignments has in some ways helped me understand what dad has, and I know it not easy. This week there was a section on Alzheimer.
I would never wish this on my worst enemy it horrible to watch someone go through, in a sense it like dad forgets everything around him and gets stuck in another life one that happened many years ago. We are getting close to the anniversary of mom death. The doctor actually has taken away some medicines form dad because his levels have been good. So I must be doing something right.
Lets see my husband, I am proud of him. He just released his book Most Likely, its good I read the first copy. Gonna have to reread the renewed version of the book. It’s a young adult Christian book, so if you need a good book look for Most Likely by Craig Hansen. Let me tell you, I am not just being nice to my hubby, trust me not my style if I say a book good it’s good. I hate reading when a book is boring, and I wouldn’t continue reading if it was not even for him, and there was a few slow spots but for the most I wanted to find out what happened to his character. So it will be nice to reread his book with the new changes, give him a try, he got his first chapter up for sample. He writes a thousand times better then me.
On to me, so far I am getting “A”s in both my classes, so I am doing well in school. I have a abscessed tooth so please pray for the L-rds healing touch and that next week when they take it out their would be no complication and I would actually feel better the next day right away. I am worried about falling behind in the last week of class. Well getting teeth pulled work better then any Diet pills that work fast for losing weight but this isn’t the best way to lose it. Having abscessed tooth really scared me. Looking back instead of asking the dentist if this horrible tooth should be pulled maybe I should have said just pull it out, maybe it would have saved an infection issue.
